How To Report Copyright Violation To Blogger?

fight-copyright-violation on BloggerI am writing this post after personally experiencing that it really works. Here I will also share an example as a proof of a blogger blog whose content was deleted after we reported it to Google DMCA and also Plagiarism Detector which is a plagiarism detection system. I will share his link because I feel its time to keep things transparent. Those who don't cooperate by respecting copyrights and enjoy online plagiarism doesn't deserve to be respected online in blogosphere at least. In this tutorial you will learn a simple free method of submitting a copyright violation complain or policy violation complain to Blogger.

Report alleged Copyright Infringement to Blogger

When a Google blogger user steal away others content and republish them without the permission of the original author than it becomes a violation. In our case author of ezaay.net has published and is still publishing several tutorials on his blog despite our polite warning letter but we received no convincing reply therefore we were forced to bring the matter to justice.
This is the Post that he copied:
This is the unauthorized copy of the same post on his blog which no longer exists as Blogger deleted it upon our request:

If you take a tour of this content thieve then you will find several duplicate copies of MBT Blog on his site. Almost every post published at MBT is republished by him without our permission. He is just one example out of many that we are facing at the moment. Almost all his popular posts that hang on his sidebar are those taken from MBT without credit backlinks.

Fighting Copyright violation on Blogger

This is what we did to convince Blogger to delete our post from his blog:
I simply filled this form -> GOOGLE DMCA : Blogger
To fill up the form follow these steps:
  1. Submit your full name and write your blog title as your Company
  2. Fill up the first box with the URL of your original content/post. If more than one post is copied than add one URL per line.
  3. Fill up the second box describing what has been violated and who violated it.
  4. In the box that asks for the Location of the allegedly infringing material, simply submit the URL of that post where you content is violated. You can also paste more than one URLs by clicking the link under the box that says Add an additional field
  5. Check the two boxes to agree to terms
  6. In the signature box write your full name again.
  7. Finally hit the submit button
After following all these steps I received this Email:
Hi,

There is no good in bad publicity. It is good that we should pin point such people so that awareness may spread and plagiarism may be discouraged. This post already caused him great trouble :>

    1) If your article is copied word to word or 80% replicated then you have full right to report it. Google team will check it and will instantly delete that post of violator.
You just need to submit your URL and the infringed page URL. No need to buy a copyright claim.

    2) In case your site is not hosted by Google you can still report it to Adsense. But first warn the violator that his Adsense account will be banned if he did not cooperated. If in case he didn't listen then go ahead. Google will of course not remove the post but they will penalize the sites ranking and could take actions against his adsense account.
If you want his post to be removed then better pay $10 to non-Google DMCA and they will do the job for you.

Please read the second answer to @Er.Batish, MCSE

  13. Ohh sweet article I was looking for.Just now filed DMCA form as pointed by the author and asked Google to remove the content.

I found two of my articles copied by two different bloggers and one of them surprisingly using Adsense ads of his site

I think google didn't apporoved my Adsense application, because it thought we were copying articles from other site.

But I know it is other way around.

P.S:Can author tell me how to report Facebook copyright violations?

    Thanks and cheers.
